  • Dry coriander: a teaspoon 

  • Cumin: a teaspoon 

  • Turmeric: a teaspoon 

  • Salt, to taste 

  • Black pepper to taste 

  • Potatoes: a cup (grilled or fried) 


How to prepare 


Stir the chopped onions with oil, chopped garlic, and well-chopped ginger over the fire. Add all the spices, and stir until the onions are slightly browned. Add the spinach, leave it on the fire for ten minutes, then add the cooking cream and potatoes inside the spinach, and serve it hot.

  • Shrimp: 225 g (dried)

  • Spinach: 450 g (fresh and chopped)

  • Onions: 2 pieces (sliced)

  • Green hot pepper: 4 pieces (chopped)

  • Oil: 3 tablespoons

  • Spices: 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic: a teaspoon (finely chopped)

  • White radish: as desired (for garnish)

  • Ginger roots: half a teaspoon (fresh and finely chopped)

  • Salt: half a teaspoon

How to prepare

  1. Wash the shrimp with water, then immerse them in cold water, and soak them for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Saute onions in oil until slightly Athmr.

  3. Add garlic and ginger to the onions, then fry, stirring constantly, for several minutes.

  4. Add the drained shrimp and spinach, stir, then cover the pot and cook over low heat for 25 minutes or until the shrimp are tender, stirring once or twice during cooking. The spinach water should be enough to soften the shrimp, and more water can be added if necessary.

  5. Add the chopped hot pepper and spices, stirring, then reduce the heat to very low, cover the pot, and leave it for about 10 minutes.

  6. Cut the radish into long spiral strips, then arrange the shrimp in a serving dish and garnish with spiral radishes as desired.
